I'm starting to believe there is some 3rd umpire conspiracy against Zimbabwe. This type of call has been given out countless times.

One the factors behind Bangladesh's rise has been DRS and the fact that we don't get ripped off by the umpires every other innings anymore like we used to (except when we play India).

Are you kidding me? ALL the TIME!

The rules are clear: a part of your bat or shoe has to be grounded BEYOND the line! That's the same as a run out! That is OUT 1000 out of a 1000 times!!

Bangladesh and Zimbabwe have to budget for the fact that 2/3 of the fifty-fifty calls will go against them on average. And there will be occaisional DRS/3rd umpire howlers like we just saw.

Although I wonder, was there any chance of some minute part of the boot being behind the line? It looked pretty OUT to me although Dickwella's initial reaction led me to believe he was well in as confident as he was.

This one made me a believe in the "conspiracy theory". I would have been OK with this decision if they had given Hamilton not out on the lbw, because then it would have been two wrong calls of equal magnitude cancelling each other.

I can't remember which call it was, but ZIM recently got another howler from the umpires...oh yeah now I remember. It was the Test vs NZ where ZIM could have potentially drawn the match but they had like 3 howlers all go against them.
