Where are Jarvis and Chinouya hiding? They will come under fire from the great Guy for sure.

This is a insane knock , forget what competition or what grade you play to make 250 is a extremely amazing achievement and one not many have done. How do I know it’s very hard ? Because I’ve never made one
The Zimbabwe Cricket team have found Ebola in one of their members, but they're not concerned because they have also found Ebatsmen and Efielda!

So Houghton's record just survives.

Maybe it was like when Mark Taylor declared just before overtaking Bradman. Zhuwao just respected Houghton too much.

Well played Zhuwao, showing a lot of improvement. His performance warrant a place in the training squad for the Boxing Day test. Maybe be even can a run in the Warm up game. I just don't see Mire performing any better.
CHRISTOPHER MPOFU: 'The problem was fear of failure. I used to think that when I played, if I didn't do well in one game, I would lose my place for the next one but now I've let go of that'

Zhuwao with 655 runs at average of 55.

Got to be worth a look I'd imagine.

No point him being a shout for any 50 / 20 over stuff he's only played 1 list A game in last 2 years. He's doing at FC level - that's realistically as far as it'll go cos they want Mire as the "aggressive" opener.

if this was Burl or Tari Taibu would be falling over in celebration. lets see what he does. that is a monumental knock no matter the circumstance. 3 of those bowlers he faced were in our last test squad as well.

he deserves at least a t20 spot.

I think a team like this would be lethal in t20s

Mire
Zhuwao
Hami
BT
Malcolm Waller(can get going very quickly)
Elton (lethal on his day in t20s)
Raza
Nathan Waller/Shingi
Cremer
Chatara
Mpofu (he has a decent slower ball)

Nathan Waller shouldn't be anywhere near the national side until he starts bowling more again.

He won't make it as a batter alone, but in the limited overs squads he could add some real value if he bowled.

I wouldn't be against the inclusion of Cephas at all. Butcher never rated him, but he obviously has worked hard at his game and this knock shows the monumental strides the bloke's taken.

Should be getting a chance in the T20's for sure.
I love the idea of Mire and him up top, but I doubt that'll happen

I”ll have to check my records to find a bowler who has conceded more than Chisoro’s 192 runs. Another record?
