Has PJ not learnt how to run between the stumps? Why is he ball watching. He almost cost Cremer and Jarvis their wickets.

Gotta disagree with Campbell. Compulsive sweeping is not a "plan" on turning pitches. It worked vs a very poor Lankan side once...won't work again since the sweep is one of the riskiest shots you can attempt. Spinners have to be worked for singles and the bad balls need to put away. Glad to see the ZIM batters didn't play the sweep every other shot.

Well, I've definitely triggered quite a few people here.

Firstly, Waller has failed to take his chance.

Hammy on the other hand, I am not asking him to be dropped completely. I just feel a man with more than 178 games under his belt should be averaging better, and performing better, particularly when playing teams much closer in us to rank. Perhaps not playing in all three formats would be better for him. I love his loyalty. I agree the experience is valuable, but experience is valuable if you make it count.
He did all that and more to set up the series win against the Lankans. And did that again in the test series against the Windies.

Chisoro would have been a bit useful in this game. But we went in with 3 seamers. Thanks to our brains trust. Lousy call yet again.

Now we know why he never made much of a career as a batsman either. ;)

Good review from Raza. Looks like he will have to take all the wickets

Very poor performance and team selection. Not going to bother watching anymore. Maybe they are just rusty.

My own analysis is that in the shorter formats we need an 8-3 because we always collapse. The extra batsman is the reason why we beat Sri Lanka. You can't rely on Cremer to bat well in this format. After all the hard work Mire did in that first ODI, that lower order of Williams Waller and Raza still had a big job to do.The whole squad is a batsman light. Who can we call from the bench? Murray?

AC also pointed out that it doesn't make sense to be introducing new guys so close to the qualifiers. I personally don't think Blessing is ready for this format yet. The truth is Tari and Williams should be in Bangladesh.
