Nothing new on whats going on for Zimbabwe Under 19. Complains and excuses are already out and ZC like every occasion as no time to listen.Under 19 sides of strong teams are out there after playing full domestic season against quality domestic bowlers.
Shumba & Roche shown some of their experience facing top bowlers in Logan Cup. Madhavere should develop himself as an opening batsman cum allrounder spin bowler and can move now to the next level.

Success depends on Aggressive Instinct

Three guys got starts, always disappointing when you see that. Guys think they’re in batting sensibly and then start trying to do a bit extra to up the run rate instead of just carrying on doing what got them to that score. The Indian openers were a handful, they’ve got a good bowling attack. I’m loOking forward to watching India SA. The South Africans have got a good side this year. These Indian spinners have really taken the pace off the ball and our boys are struggling with that, clever bowling.

Its simple, 2 years of development are just to defeat U19 sides of Canada, PNG, Kenya & Namibia atleast they needs to show some fight.
Zim U19 should'nt appoint any coaching staffs from next time, as appointing a manager will be enough to defeat smaller teams
Last time though Zim lost, a gem of an innings came from Malcolm Lake when Zim U19 faced India, should have been an inspiring story for the current players.

Frost was completely out of his depth, decides to pull the trigger and go for a hoik before the ball was even bowled.
I’m really not seeing the merit in picking a tail ender batsman.

Lake is a dasher, unbelievable ability with the bat, but has no idea how to grind. He could have been a wonderful batsman if he’d applied himself. He was dropped three times in that innings, not that it matters, it was a good knock. I’m not sure what message you’re sending picking an over ager as captain of your U19 WC side?
This umpire Paul Wilson wants an early lunch. Useless twat. Shocking decision.

Googly...what do you think about Shumba?..Someone for the future?
Re: [Match Thread] U19 WC: Zimbabwe vs India
Harrison out to a great delivery, fast inswinging yorker. Last two at the crease 150 on the board 5 overs left, Connolly and Nungu at the crease.
Re: [Match Thread] U19 WC: Zimbabwe vs India
None of the batters get behind the short ball, all backing off slightly to leg. Zim have actually done ok all things considered. I would have loved to have seen Dollar get a few, shit delivery to get. Nungu is a walking wicket. Let’s see.
Re: [Match Thread] U19 WC: Zimbabwe vs India
Ya Shumba definitely has tools you can work with, looks very organized and composed. He went 6 then stumped, just over reached defending a flighted delivery that beat him. Both he and Roache overstep a bit, they need to be a bit more compact and play it a bit later.
Nungu just worn a good one,

Nungu out. Clueless with the bat, I haven’t seen him bowl.
