I concur with Jaybro. The Afghans will score 500 across both innings no matter how flat the pitch. Unless they play some of their domestic guys who's stats look promising. But then again, how strong is the AFG first class league? Afghans will have a chance on a rank turner, but the Indians would be foolish to make that kind of a pitch.

I predict a flat Bangalore track with the AFG spinners still able to keep India from posting a mammoth total (500 all out is my guess with a Kohli double). India to win by an Innings and 25 runs in that scenario.

The sun hasn't been out for a week here in Bengaluru with overcast conditions and occasional drizzles. Might naturally help seamers on day 1 as Chinnaswamy normally does in domestic FC games. If this happens, Afghans are in for a massive disadvantage with Dawlat also not available and with Indian seamers in good form.

Woops. I knew that!

Yamin getting the ball to swing through the air. Good seam position, nice easy action. Bowling in the mid 130s.

Ahmadi, Afsar, Yamin, Wafadar...4 Test specialists in the XI. 5 if you include Hashmatullah.

What a unique feat for Andy Pycroft, who himself made his debut as part of Zimbabwe's debut test against India, to be officiating as match referee in another country's debut test match!

Pitch has been turning. Rashid in particular was getting his googly to really turn sharply.

Afghanistan have done a decent job of pulling this back

They'll learn a lot from this if they continue to play more Tests.

I feel they'll invite Zimbabwe over to the North of India for a Test or two, as they'll fancy their chances
