8 rising stars playing so far. Thats actually a very good number as I personally didnt think that many of them were ready yet.

Two years and 6 days even after his international debut, Tari finally gets a 100 of any kind even domestically for the first time. This should, and most definitely would be first of many to come. Bravo!

Yes, it's taken him a long time as a specialist bat to get there, 45 innings, let's hope that if Zim cricket has a future it will be with Musakanda as a regular century maker now that he's tasted the first one and with a rebuilt Mumba taking the wickets

I’m not up to speed with the RS guys that have made it into the franchise teams. How many youngsters that went on tour to UK, or are a couple of them guys that were put in the side when they were back in zim?
Anyway it’s good to see regardless.
Well done Tari!! About time.
Ervine showing his skills, I don’t care what anyone says this guy is quality, needs to iron out a couple of glitches and get his confidence back.

Burl has fallen out with the Eagles, going to play for the Tuskers apparantly.

Well that’s probably a good thing considering the Tuskers are a bit thin on talent.

Doesn’t get much credit but well done Zimfan1 always has the inside word 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Burl, Jarvis and Hamilton the biggest names missing from this round of action. Guessing Chatara is yet to fully recover.

Good to see Musakanda captaining the Rhinos. Would have also liked to evaluate the leadership skills of Moor, but unfortunately both playing for the same team.

Chigumbura is still around. I know Waller at least adds depth at this level, but what exactly does Chigs bring to the table on the domestic scene?

By the way, whatever happened to Nathan Waller?
I am told Nathan has retired, disillusioned with the way ZC is run.

In first-class cricket, yes. He wasted several previous opportunities, and nearly wasted this one, being dropped twice in the nineties. But before then I am told it was a fine, well-constructed innings.

Thanks John, that’s always the concern that the fielding and bowling was below par. Either way good to see Tari crack the figure mark let’s hope he has a big season.

Any idea why some of the more senior guys aren’t playing John? And also young Tinashe Kamunhukamwe ?
