Missing Rising Stars Team
These finished old players already proved they are useless for the international cricket. Chigumbura, Sibanda, Chibhabha, Mutizwa, S Masakadza, Zhuwao doesnt have anything to do except blocking the path of youths who are getting benched because of these failures being senior players

Can the light-on-batting Mountaineers chase down the target of 245? Looks unlikely. Rhinos could be in for a good start to the season here, beating the much fancied defending champions. May not look like enough runs to defend, but 4th innings producing the highest score of the match is highly unlikely. Unless old fox Mutizwa has other plans...

Rhinos have the style and ability to disappoint me any time, but it won't be with any help from the old fox, he'll be no more use to Mountaineers than Basil Brush todayCrimsonAvenger wrote: ↑Wed Dec 05, 2018 7:43 amCan the light-on-batting Mountaineers chase down the target of 245? Looks like neither my reverse jinx nor your optimism has enough strength to pull this one off...foreignfield wrote: ↑Wed Dec 05, 2018 8:08 amMountaineers to win by two wicketsCrimsonAvenger wrote: ↑Wed Dec 05, 2018 7:43 amCan the light-on-batting Mountaineers chase down the target of 245? Mountaineers missing Maruma here. Whenever Hamilton was away, either Mutizwa or Maruma stepped up to be counted. No Maruma, and failure for Mutizwa in both the digs just seals the deal.

A fifty each for the Don and Mashinge plus a few lusty blows by M'shangwe and we're home. Easy.CrimsonAvenger wrote: ↑Wed Dec 05, 2018 9:28 amLooks like neither my reverse jinx nor your optimism has enough strength to pull this one off...foreignfield wrote: ↑Wed Dec 05, 2018 8:08 amMountaineers to win by two wicketsCrimsonAvenger wrote: ↑Wed Dec 05, 2018 7:43 amCan the light-on-batting Mountaineers chase down the target of 245? I was hoping they would get to 200 at least. This is looking like a nightmarish start to the season.
Hamilton Masakadza should have played. No excuses.
EDIT: On the plus side, Carl Mumba is well and truly back!
MumbaMania!!!

Mumba made short work of the tail, which is great to see from a broader perspective.
