Great news to have Dougie Marillier back. He was always one of my favourite players.

No i disagree. Both these players may not have played cricket for a while, but the talent they hold is undeinable. Blignaut has proven to all of us that he can either bowl a team out, or take an attack to pieces. Marrilliar is an extremly talented player, one that should be used if available

i agree that everyone including these guys should be given a chance, there should be a lot of competition for each and every place, we could have done with Anthony Ireland in the squad as well.

In total honesty, i think our pace bowling unit looks pretty strong at the moment. If Kyle Jarvis can bowl how he did against the South Africans, the Kenyans and the Bangldeshies, he and Blignaut would be a formidable opening bowling combination. With Chigs coming on first change and our spin department being as strong as it is, we have a very settled an threatening attack. However, having said that, Andy Blignaut hasn't played internationally for the best part of 5 years, and he may have dropped down in pace dramatically. But i remeber whatching him play a couple of years back in South Africa for a big club, and he looked very sharp indeed. He took 5 wickets in hat match. Fingers crossed he can partner up with Kyle, and take early wickets for his country.......and don't get me started on how dangerous he can be with the bat, as we all know

I would take Jarvis on the trip but would not be a first chocie yet, look at how he has been bowling in the domestic scene (not that great) and i worry what would happen to his confidence if Gayle gets after him.
