Logan Cup Round 5 (Tuskers v Mountaineers & Eagles v Rhinos)

Tuskers v Mountaineers: http://www.espncricinfo.com/series/8794 ... up-2018-19

Rhinos v Eagles: http://www.espncricinfo.com/series/8794 ... up-2018-19

No Hamilton still for Mountaineers, who have got off to a woeful start with the bat.

Sparkling start in the other match for the Rhinos.

Timmy Maruma seems to have steadied the ship for the Manicas, again showing his worth at this level.

So is Mpofu.
Also I wonder where the whites be at?

The internationals are there/or the t20 leagues. But where are the backup Whites? The Bruce, Murray, Roache, waller and any under 19 types.

Thought we’d see at least 1 or 2.

i spoke to Hammy the other day; he is hoping to start training this week if his ankle holds up to it, and hopes to be fit to play again in two or three weeks' time.

Well played Maruma.

Looks like Chigumbura is back bowling?

Maruma always goes big for the Goats, decent numbers but awful technique, will never ever support a call for him to return to the national side

Thanks for the update John.

150+ score by Maruma means that he has earned an extra point for his team through that knock. Good show.

Yeah, saw that he picked up a wicket too. Still, Taibu has 3 times more FC wickets than Chigs at this stage this season :ugeek:

Good to see the batsman finding some form at last. No surprise that it has come after the players have got a few games under their belts. It's a disgrace that their is only one full round of first class games left this season.
