Resting or not picking talents like Jongwe, Akram, Mashinge, Madhevere in domestic cricket going to hurt Zimbabwe in T20s, next global event is the Pre Qualifiers in UAE and all the teams are going to be competative as the format has become renowned throughout the world and new teams are taking this format as the way of entering the top level cricket.

Allrounders are considered as precious in this format as they provide two services increases depth in the batting as well as bowling.

Mountaineers need to win this to stay in contention for the final. Hoping that they do.

Hamilton is missing again after playing the first match. More injury trouble?

Wow the forum power continues to show no boundaries !!!

11 wickets now for the season, he might actually make the side for the UAE series

He just has one more List A match remaining - the Pro 50 final. He must make sure he impresses there too. Starting against UAE could be a good thing after all, instead of having to bowl at some better quality batsmen...

Here’s a chance for ZC to be bold and pick him, picking him against the UAE can’t hurt?

They have to think ‘who don’t Afghanistan want us to pick?’ The best chance Zimbabwe have to beat them is on hard fast decks that take the spinners out of the game and bring in the pacers which will make Hazrutallah and co uncomfortable. Jarvis & Chatara are locks, but who would Afghanistan rather face, Tiripano or some speed merchant with a slinger action they’ve never seen before??

Pick him for the UAE series and see how he goes, if he fails you can always go back to Tiripano or Mpofu

Wow wonderful to see Jakiel with those figures. I agree Jaybro, they've got to be brave and get him in the side. It might seem premature, but it could be a while before we get any more limited overs internationals and with the WT20 qualifiers coming up pretty soon we need to have a look at him, especially if he can live up to the comparisons to Malinga and bowl the death overs well.

Agree 100%

Although I haven’t seen him bowl this is what I/we know

He’s fairly quick

Slinger action

Good Yorker
