Ervine getting back his form is really great, but it makes me wonder where he will fit into the ODI XI (surely he will be picked) in the upcoming series. I would think he would slot in above Taylor at 3, but Williams has played so well at 4 I hope that pushing him back to 5 doesn't impact that.

Musuku playing the innings of his life here, going after the bowlers in Ernest.

Tuskers 204 all out.

Kamunhukamwe blasting off at the top of the order once again, must be a better option than Zhuwao in the national side these days.

Game on 128 for 5.

One of these two out and the tail is very much exposed. Though mufudza can bat

Looks like Kamunhukamwe has sealed his spot in the national ODI team with this knock of his? Another couple of good knocks in the T20 series and he is well and truly in the zone to face up to the UAE bowlers. What is now unclear is would Hamilton recover in time to join him at the top of the order.

I was also about to ask why Tuskers even need Ndlovu in their XI given that they already have Williams and Nyumbu, let alone him being captain. But boy, he has turned the match on its head here. Go Tuskers!

How does it make sense Chakabva is fighting for Zimbabwe national duty as wicketkeeper but at Club level Mutumbani is the wicketkeeper...
Chibhabha is selected as an opening batsman at national level but K-LONG is doing better at Club level..

Of course the stage was set for The legendary Jakiel to come in and calmly steer the Eagles home :D

So in the end, Ervine topping the run charts with 422 runs, Roy Kaia with 309 and Chakabva with 266 at 3. Jakiel tops the wicket takers list with 13 wickets from just 4 matches, while Williams slots in with 9 wickets and Tshuma with 8. Tshuma did go for plenty of runs too though.

Kamunhukamwe is the real deal. Trust me. Saw Mire around as well. Hopefully he features for the t20s. They would make a decent opening pair.
