Looks like it is time for Guy Whittall to come to the rescue. He even has the experience of sleeping with a "Crocodile" underneath...

Today under their hero they probably can't even march in their living rooms. I don't know what you guys were thinking.   I recall once upon a time when the country was under a certain despised dictator, "final pushes" and "shutdowns" were the order of the day (of course there were bruises, but even France, US and China protest police can make those bruises look like a picnic).

For over two decades now, I used to laugh in the face of any Zimbabwean who tried to tell me that there was no democracy in Zimbabwe. Now this has graduated to reading journalists all ver the world trying very hard to avoid reporting about Zimbabwe because the contradictions would call their integrity into question. Zimbabwe has been something else I tell you. Even experts once in denial are saying - sanctions were and are the problem in Zimbabwe.

Not to worry, we are going through the same thing in South Africa. Except the biggest difference is - despite the official and regularly reported figures about the big difference in education of the two nations - South Africans haven't exactly been fooled as much.

Guys fix your home. This is not on.

Listening to Tendai Biti on interviews, for a moment I thought he would say "Mugabe we are sorry for everything. Please come back. We lied we had no reason to exist."

Being denied constitutional benefits? Isn't that something Grace could help him with?

Is it bad that this is the first thing I thought of when I saw the news?

Yup looks like he’s with his old friend Pete. We’re facing days of Father of the Nation and African liberation hero speeches. Africa has never been less free or more impoverished than it is now. Ironic that he died in Singapore because we have no medical care to speak of here.
There’s nothing to celebrate, generations lost.
Our insurmountable problems continue to pile up.
