Looks like a fast outfield, small and with the Singapore attack I wouldn’t be too concerned at this stage to be honest.
No Masakadza/Taylor/Raza - the guys likely to treat Singapore's bowlers with the disrespect they deserve.
I can definitely see Chari getting his eye in for ten overs...

Now that India have replaced us with SL, what on earth will we do after this triseries? Any cricket is better than no cricket. Is a couple ODIs against Windies or NZ that expensive? Or do they refuse to host us?
ZC is broke. Unless another country invites us, it's not going to happen.
You’ve been Google level of negative lately 😂
I am still quietly confident. Zimbabwe’s batting problem is usually due to lack of muscle in hitting long and hard. It shouldn’t be an issue here.

Of course, this could change in an instant, but I think there’s enough fire here to get it done.
Don’t underestimate the power of a small and quick field !
Haven't watched much of the game(RWC hours messing things up). Regis, Mutombodzi and Mutumbami not making things easy with their batting performances. I still believe those 3 together with most of the other guys, Burl, Williams and Craig do not belong in this format.

But yes like you I'm still confident about Zimabbwe. Not just in this match but generally.

You should not be surprised that ZIM are conceding such high totals, especially on such a primary school ground (never mind High School/Club). ZIM have no attack. This is Ngarava's first match back in a while. but this ground is not International level. ICC have opened up the game in terms of njmber of ODI & T20 teams, but I think they forgot about grounds and facilities. They have to look into that. Even the ZIm batsmen finding it way too easy to get boundaries and sixes.

By the way, you guys must not forget that NZ have had similar pathetic non-attacks against ZIm and they lost in 2 ODIs (remember Malcolm and Craig?). On this tour Zimabbwe are doing something similar. I think Chatara played that other game and was conceding next to nothing in his first 2 overs. That would never happen against quality batsmen.

Chatara, Chisoro, Jarvis and Wellington bowling up front on this tour would have had ZIM chasing low totals though, so I think the runs give batsmen som edecent practice. I don;t see ZIM losing a match on this tour. Question is what will they learn from it?
Voice of reason.

What’s this?
A meaningful 50 from Sean with the game still alive ?

Do I believe my own eyes?

What's the damn point of playing Munyonga if he's not gonna be given a chance at doing anything??

Did we really just send out a one-legged Maruma?

He injured himself in the first innings.

There can be no excuses for losing to Singapore.

This is disgraceful. Whoever thought it was smart to send out Maruma for the final over should be sacked. Dumbest thing I've ever seen; the guy can't even walk.
