I don't really follow NRL, but i guess it would be Brisbane by default.

Just to clarify...the terrible choice was sarcasm.

Googly, for his sometimes depressing but otherwise spot on view of the future of Zimbabwe & Zim Cricket.

Overall, for me, definitely foreignfield and Jemisi for the same reasons they both have given already.
For the laughs, yes, eugene and anusha gamage - two different ends of the spectrum.
I have also enjoyed the brutal apocalyptic one-liners of Train Driver and the eternally enthusiastic arguments of jaybro.

Special mention: aydee

Good thread sloandog, especially with all the doom and gloom and with so little cricket around...

Thanks for the shout outs, Jaybro and Jemisi. Looks like I've got something with the Js.

I would have to say all the prolific posters are amongst my favorites, but if I had to pick one single poster, I would probably pick Jemisi myself, because he seems like the type of guy who could be friends with anybody and everybody (much like myself IRL).

Great to see a great forum member get his due credit. Well deserved.

Thanks for the recognition.

Thanks Sloan for the post, especially after that nonsense you had to face recently.

And for the kind words.

I have been thinking about the forum a bit lately in the gloom.

There really are only a couple of trolls, now gone again and a couple of random botlike posters that bring the place down. In the midst of cricket they get swept away but in the dry times they become prolific.

I really do enjoy and appreciate all of the contributions from the people who are here for the right reasons. Including the less regular posters as well as the mainstays.

Perhaps like sloan has done we could work on some fresh stuff a bit more to fill in some of the long gaps.

Just pointing out I’m a good ten years younger than you.
Never been compared to a WW2/Korean War soldier before.
A soldier yes because I’m lethal but not a digger.

Not because you're old, just because people don't tend to extrovert the larrikin in public anymore.
