Just had a listen to Sean Williams at the press conference. He speaks well, I didn’t expect that, dunno why.
He has obviously had captaincy aspirations for a while.
I've had a hunch for a while that Sean Williams could be a good candidate. Found a post from three years ago, almost to the day, although I only seconded sloandog's nomination with some scruples then.
My feelings are pretty much the same now.
I wish him luck.

Agree with zimfan1. I think it was the whole talk of his behaviour. And he dicked around (pun intended) quite a bit at the start of his career throwing his head up about whether he will take a contract up etc.
I am pretty excited for tomorrow. I know there's been a bit of noise about Burl and Moor (understandably) but the top 3-7 will be decent and Jarvis will be the best seamer on the pitch. It is nice to follow the boys again. I wish Cremer was playing. He gives us so much and, again, it makes me cross that he doesn't. We know the season here is about 3 months anyway. He could still live in Dubai and play for Zim
My understanding from heresay is he isn’t the most educated and academic guy.
Got his stockbrokers licence in South Africa whilst his was out for a year with a knee injury after the world cup qualifiers. I agree he was not the most educated guy but lots of white collar CEO's would love to have an ex international cricketer in their ranks, regardless of their ability.
