Actually not a lot of people object, that’s the problem. These guys do what they like, when they like, treat players like dirt and are not answerable to anyone. Bear in mind also that they were calling through their grapevine for Myers, Shumba and Madhevere to be included in the squad for Bangladesh. They’re yesterday’s news unless they pull off an unlikely win against Pakistan, they do that and Myers might find himself captain of the side going to Bangladesh  They have no clue on how to run cricket. One good day and everyone forgets yesterday, ten bad days and there’s just a deafening silence from people that have been trampled for so long that they think they deserve it.

No one is looking for a spot for Burl. Kasuza got a chance and took it. Burl must wait, make runs and hope Kasuza fails. That’s cricket.

The only way Burl is going to get a bite is if he starts opening! there is effectively no space for him in the middle order. if he gets a chance that puts him in contest with Williams ,Raza, Ervine, Taylor and to some part Chakabva.

If he is a smart man he would start opening the batting in all franchise games.

This puts him in contest with Chari,Kasuza,Kamunhukamwe,Mudzinganyama

With alot more kids knocking on the door, The Likes of Madhewere, Shumba, are also looking to make a name for themselves.

I dont think there has ever been a time in Zim cricket history where the number of future probables has been so many.

If we only had a good administration we would be looking at a Good A side with the following line up

Shumba, Madhevere,Kamunhukamwe,Mudzinganyama, Musakanda, Burl,Ndlovu, Manyonga,Mavuta, Mashinge,Tsuma,Schadendorf,Dion Myers

Robin Burl & Peter Moor victim of racial policy. Moor is far better then quota wicket keeper Chakabva

the youtube stream is back!

Taylor out for 21. 208 for 3 now...if ZIM lose another 2 before lunch, the run rate will become a factor.

Excellent platform against an attack that spearheaded a 2-0 whitewash of South Africa in South Africa recently.

Day 2 will really determine the fate of this match. ZIM's slow batting leaves them susceptible to a collapse. But with 8 wickets in the bag, 400+ looks ripe for the taking.

Interesting stat, Zimbabwe have only scored 400 in an innings once since readmission in 2011.
It will be criminal not to make 400 from this spot.

Ahh Taylor missed out today, I actually thought it might be an idea to swap him & Williams so BT could go for the attack
Later on, not to be.

Need another good partnership here
