While the other two debutants have been very impressive, Ndlovu confirming the doubts raised by many when he was announced in the squad. He is no way the best bowler in he country.

Chisoro would have been better for sure, again, not a big turner, but could have been more accurate for sure. Well, even Wellington would have been better with his batting stickiness too.

While I agree with the leggie in the XI sentiments, Mavuta has regressed and I would definitely not have picked him either. We have serious problems in the spin department.

Irrespective of the bowling attack and the state of the pitch, this is a monumental effort from Mathews to play such a long innings given his persistent injury issues. Deserves a double hundred.

Not one current Zimbo batsman is capable of an innings like this. I think only the Flower brothers (Andy more so than Grant), Houghton and Guy Whittall were the only ones who showed the ability to grind like this for such long periods and also had the talent to bat long enough without giving their wickets away.
