[Match Thread] Logan Cup (Rangers V Tuskers and Eagles v Mountaineers)

If they get an anonymous donation of pink balls we’ll play that next.

I do like them playing red ball cricket but there are no tests scheduled this year as far as I can tell after Bangladesh.Googly wrote: ↑Thu Feb 20, 2020 10:23 amAs you said, why have red ball when there are supposedly spots up for grabs? Quite simply because they picked the side a while ago and current form has got nothing to do with it after all. These muppets are capable of canceling everything and holding a 100 ball on a whim.
It would be much better if they played two 50 over and two T20 matches a week. Could have the T20s back to back on a Saturday and then the 50 over matches on a Friday and Sunday. Therefore it will allow players to work in the week.
Makes sense to focus on white ball cricket with the start of the ODI league and the T20 World Cup in 2021 being the top priority.

Now Kaia goes right on 50.

Agreed, there’s virtually no point in playing red ball. Zim plays how many tests a year? Just get into the white ball stuff, it’s cheaper as well. They can use some white enamel if they’ve only got red balls in stock.
Or just play 50 over with red ball because then they can use whites and don’t have to buy uniforms. I’m just saving them money by the hour.

Seeing names like Cunningham Ncube, Thabo Mboyi, (recent form guy) Rememberence Nyathi, (once prodigy) Kudzai Sauramba regularly on the team sheets is really frustrating.
And hello! Muzarawetu is back too! The one who went downhill after bursting onto the scene with a great debut season...

It just doesn't make sense to play domestic cricket when the national team is on tour; that's about half the serious cricketers gone (and I don't know how often I've bemoaned that sort of scheduling before). Only upside is the inclusion of Shumba and Wes.

Yep, in times like these the forgotten ones reappear. I've also seen Musoko somewhere ...CrimsonAvenger wrote: ↑Thu Feb 20, 2020 3:27 pmAnd hello! Muzarawetu is back too! The one who went downhill after bursting onto the scene with a great debut season...
