China actually are running out of friends. They have a stigma with them now
When you have money you have friends coming out of your ears. What they need is land and raw materials to satisfy their insatiable hunger and their out of control population. There’s only one continent left on the planet that gives that away at quarter price by being able to pay the playground bully with sweets.

Why isn’t China sending squadrons of their fumigation trucks, containers of masks, containerized emergency hospitals, cheap Chinese ventilators etc to their new colonies in Africa?
They want us on our knees, that’s why. The more desperate their colonies become the more pliable are their citizens and their bully boy leaders.
Whilst our leaders lead the chant about Western Imperialism and sanctions to mislead their half witted subjects they’ve complicity allowed Eastern Imperialism to grab our vitals like a stage 4 cancer. As I said, when the rest of the World spend years rebuilding their economies and are too busy to give a shit these evil people will emerge from the shadows and it’s going to be too late to stop them.

The US is now seriously contemplating "opening back up" well before the peak viral incidence is reached. This will certainly expose tens of millions of Americans (anyone not in quarantine) which will result in millions of new and preventable infections, which will result in thousands of additional deaths. As an American, very worrying news.

Hard to understand why Australia is waiting to lock down? It’s like they’re hoping it’s going to get better

At the end of the day there’s a vast difference between First World and Third World solutions. “Carry on as normal” is better for the people that are willing to isolate because everyone who was going to have been infected will have recovered or died within weeks and not months.

Not to sure about the effect of an Australian lockdown but the horse bolted before they shut the gate in Sydney. I’m dreading what effect those cruise ships docking with infected passengers will have.
I wonder if heads will roll.

It’s all horseshit. If it was Ebola I’d say panic, everyone needs to carry on with their lives. More people will ultimately die by getting hit by falling coconuts or murdered on their farms. It’s going to be such a non event that when the Chinese unleash the next one on us everyone is going to ignore it at our peril.

After Makamba’s death our brave leaders are in a panic and are diverting funds to kit out a private set-up with ventilators, oxygen etc.
Not really the actions of fearless ex-combatants, but there you have it, entirely expected. We’ll see if SA will accept them on medevac flights if it happens again. They don’t want medical assistance here because there isn’t any. The last $500k the Ministry of Health received was spent buying Range Rovers. There’s not a chloroquine tablet to be found south of the equator either
Makamba is the son of James, a badass who risked all by having an affair with Grace and helping the Mugabe family externalize money for many years. You can call him many things, but that makes him a badass.

Trust me they’re never going to manage to shut down SA for 21 days, army or no army.
They’re already throwing rocks and the looting and burning will commence shortly. Natal University were at it a couple of days ago and Ramaphosa has forgotten his roots. Their tradition is to loot, burn and destroy whenever they’re unhappy, which is whenever they don’t get free shit. I wonder if they see the irony of shooting at them with rubber bullets, dogs and tear gas?
Malema will be rubbing his hands together in glee, his party are going to make big strides after the looming fiasco.
