I forgot we can nominate a second allrounder! Can I nominate Dilshan as a bowling allrounder as well as a keeper? Morgan could put on the gloves while Dilshan bowls.
If Morgan has taken the gloves at least once since 2010, then yes. Just bear in mind that all allrounders will be weighted equally. Ie 3 all rounders will all count as 1/3 of a bowler each.

I think I will stick with just the one allrounder, as tempted as I am to get the most out of Dilshan as possible!

OK so hopefully I can finish the stats database and be able to start the “simulation” within 24 hours.

We will do 3 random innings for each player instead of a best of 3 series. That should please everyone.

Out of curiosity could you run the numbers on my statistical dream team?

Can we run the stats over the 1st draft also if it's not too much trouble ?

Sure. That will have to wait till after Draft 2 though. But shouldn't take too much time.

Its safe to say that team would be unrealistically high. Like if you made a team in a video game.

I feel like not having a specialist WK is a bit unfair. A non-specialist or solid keeper is probably bound to make more mistakes than a normal keeper. They can potentially cost a few bye runs or a missed stumping.

By not picking a specialist, you open it up to someone picking a higher average batsman, but then when fielding, that non specialist is perhaps causing his team.

Dilshan has been a decent keeper in his time. It surprised me he only kept once in the last decade, he was somewhat regular behind the stumps for a time.

I've got 5 of the team's database completed. Another 4 to go. Going to bed now, but should be done in the next 24 hours and we will start the playoffs immediately.
