We always tend to struggle in t20 we are a better one day side ..chamu has to go get in shumba and burl should open in one dayers as well ..followed by ervine Taylor Williams Wesley Raza chisoro (wish we had cremer) Jarvis ngarava and muzarbani ..fairly decent side we will run top sides close more often than not

If they're handled properly, Madhevere and Muzarabani could be fucking superstars, absolute gold.

Why bring the rest of the squad all that way and not play them? We're not winning nothing, may as well give all the reserves a run.
Wellington, Akram, Shumba and Mutumbambi out of those who are fit are still yet to play. Certainly give Wellington and Shumba a go, and no harm in giving Akram and Mutumbambi a go as well.

Wellington will definitely add another dimension with his electric fielding at least. I'd definitely give him a go in Chisoro's place. Shumba should have played already. What are they waiting for even after seeing Madhevere's success?

The series is lost. Give Chibhabha the boot and get Shumba in with Sean as captain.

Madhevere looks really good, long may it last. What remains to be seen is how he will handle a dry spell, that's always the telling. The way he's threaded some of those shots through off is high quality indeed.
I'm still surprised at the number of shit deliveries Blessing dishes up though.

Letting Chigumbura have one last series, basically at Shumba's expense is just a waste. Milton could have had three ODI's and 3 T20's under his belt and he would possibly be up and running by now. Thats if you're swapping those two out. You may well have found, had Shumba played, that it would be Raza's spot in jeopardy.

We play so little cricket here that if one of the vets has one good game he essentially delays anyone else getting a shot by a year.
If Chigumbura had pitched up fighting fit it would have been a better look.

Is Dion Myers better/as good as Wez? I know Shumba has some serious talent but have never seen him play

I'd have said yes, now no, Madhevere has gone to the next level with ease. Not a lot of 19 /20 year olds make the transition that easily. Having said that the Pakistan opener is only 20 and he's bloody amazing.
Shumba does a few things wrong technically that he may not get away with at international level, but we'll never know unless we see him. This would have been the perfect series.

Myers at 18/19, with his career ending action is the best block hole bowler in Zim by a distance.

Watching this IPL immediately after a Zim game is not a good look either. There are levels and then there are levels

Was the best block hole bowler. If you don't play cricket for nearly a year its hard to catch up. Zim has the ability to turn potentially really good cricketers into ordinary ones with alarming ease.
