The Bennet boys can bat, their Dad was a damned fine cricketer.

A lot of German/Afrikaner names. Unusual.

Hats off to ZC. I know it’s all Harare based but first the NPL and then this little Under 19’s tournament. How is it that these young lads and the blokes in the NPL managed to gain kit with sponsors on it and all matching, yet the FC players are wearing on test shirts.

Update on this, Matty Welch may make himself available in the future. Away fishing at the moment.

Re: U-19 trial tournament,2020
I saw Marumani and the fella who bowled chinaman at the last WC in those massive Logan Cup squads.Did anyone else notice how many wides were bowled? Struth, at least 20 for each team. I know they haven't been playing heaps but thats wildjaybro wrote: ↑Sun Dec 20, 2020 10:04 pmScorecards below
Names that stood out to me
E Bawa - Prodigious talent who scored a century at the last U19's WC
Gratitude Jaya - Played for the Patriots in the NPL
Brian Bunnett - Top scored for Easterns
Dylan Nzvenga - IIRC he scored a double ton in South Africa at a school boy carnival last year
Ross Mills - His name popped up on the forum after scoring a double ton for his school
Saxton Petican - Apparently he's only 15 or 16? Played in the NPL as well
IIRC the only name there that was at the last WC was Bawa, this would suggest the expectations for the next edition in 2022 would be low, especially when you consider a few of the guys will likely be 16 or 17.
