Northerns v Southerns

Post by jaybro »

For those interested and with the spare time here are the YouTube links to the Intra Squad Trial between Northerns & Southerns

https://youtu.be/_kh_l76DyDQ

That’s all of Day 1 I believe, Day 2 sessions are broken into smaller videos, all can be found in Zimbabwe Crickets YouTube platform

Live streaming is also available if you want to tune in later today/ night

Raza's bowling has gone downhill, Maruma taking him apart and looking like Gary Sobers in the process.

One thing I like about this live streaming is that people will then see for themselves why someone like Maruma keeps getting picked even though he keeps failing at the highest level.

I was surprised that they didn’t have him in the T20 team. I was also a doubter until I saw him in full swing at HSC one time.

Burl also got hammered  Our spin options are not looking good, is Wellington any better than those two?

Raza's old action was great. Got a good amount of turn from it.

It must have been a road but good to see each batman make big scores.

I wonder at certain points of the 4 day game, if coaches were directing others how to bat.

Must give Maruma credit he’s obviously worked in his game a lot, watching him play in this match he’s a lot more controlled at the crease, he’s keeping his head still as the ball is being delivered & he’s not as ‘scatter gun’ at the crease.

Time has probably passed him by to forge an international career of note, but he played a great innings yesterday
