Nobody would believe you if you told them Tiripano has a better FC bowling average and strike rate than Nyauchi. Only just but at this level Tiripano just doesn’t have the gas
11 Tests 17 wickets @51

I've said it many times, Tiripano needs to be replaced, Zimbabwe needs to put more energy into helping Mumba or Mashinge or some other seamer who can hold a bat progress, so they can replace the Don

Burl is turning into a Maruma type of player, good enough for domestic cricket but completely at sea in International games

That is a bit premature

Burl has the goods, he needs to make that mental leap now which Williams has done. He's good enough for this level with the bat, but he's being used in the wrong position. Bad drop though wasn't it

Some of the shots the batters have played have been awful. The captain again showing why he's not good enough for international cricket. Such a dreadful shot, although I don't want to take too much credit away from Blessing.

Tiripano needs to go though. He's useful with the bat but he's there to take wickets at the end of the day. When you have Ngarava in the squad, who looked sharp against Pakistan, I think Ewing and the selectors need to seriously have a rethink

I wouldn't stress too much about burl, he just needs to be given leniency and time which I think he will get and he will start performing, he is the William's replacement for the years coming as his leg breaks have come on a mile and just needs exposure with his batting.

But God can Afghanistan not bat to save their lives. The commentators saying that Rahmat Shah has one of the best techniques in test cricket to get bowled the next ball for a duck was my highlight of the afternoon session.
