Zimbabwe needs to learn modern day hard hitting technuque. If i am not wrong its was Douglous Marillier, a Zimbabwean who started this modern era cheeky type of shorts back in 90s.

Zimbabwe needs to appoint someone who can teach them hard hitting shorts, drills and building up body physique for hard hitting.

Guys like Tiripano, Moor, Jongwe, Mashinge, Munyonga has got the ability but they can be the best if they are trained.
Dougie wearing 'cheeky shorts' was not the image I needed whilst eating my lunch.....

Steyn would be great.
Would never happen with the current board. He would also need the right head coach around him otherwise it will just end badly.

Steyn has always said how much he loves Zim and often visits for fishing trips and such. He speak highly of the place. I think he has some family there too, so he wouldn't need convincing to move there, but the current board would not make the relationship work.

Spot on
And totally unrealistic
Why?
When has zim ever struggled to get name coaches?
Especially SAF ones.
Klusener
Donald
Ntini
Gillespie

Yes these guys were using us as stepping stones, but it’s a great gig to have.
What’s Steyns cred as a coach?
Steyn clearly has a thing for zim.

Not only is this realistic, it could be easily attainable.

Was it unrealistic when they got Gillespie?
Someone who was at the same stage of his coaching career post retirement, without the zim connection.

Was it unrealistic getting Geoff Marsh? Right after coaching the most dominant test team of the current century?

Was in unrealistic getting Dav Whatmore?

What about former Indian coach and current coach Rajput?

But yes, it’s unrealistic getting a guy who soends his free time in Zim with no coaching experience
