Far too often we go into matches with Ireland with so much on the line. They're are like the team who can always stump us up.
Hopefully we have the mental fortitude to be stronger and better this game.

The Irish will be coming hard here.
For me, it was always Will Portefield who I couldn't stand. He was unapologetically rude towards the Zimbabwe sides of that time during post match interviews, begrudgingly shook hands with the captains and just had an overall bad attitude, which dripped down to the rest of the Irish side.
This Irish side have some very good players but they're really quite weak against quality spin. I'm hoping Cremer plays alongside Mazakadza and we squeeze them

SA on the brink here of crushing the Indians. It feels so good seeing them go quiet and their arrogance being put in check. Their openers, Sharma and Kishan, and Varma are just dripping with arrogance and seeing their faces drop when they got out was nice to see. The way their board handled the Bangladesh situation and then threatened Pakistan was abhorrent

I personally don't see us beating India or SA, just because of the skill set they possess, but we might have a chance against the West Indies tomorrow. Will be good viewing, even though I'm back teaching tomorrow

Windies win is critical, after that we can think math gymnastics and rain dances

South Africa have been brilliant in this tournament. This win against India is mighty impressive.

I agree with you totally on Munyonga.
Although Reggie Mutare hasn’t just ‘popped up’. He was a great coach, sorely missed since he left Zim. Muyeye, Myers and Bawa all his products.

There are far too many of these pages on socials popping up giving too much props to players that don't deserve it. They will never give props to any of the white players. Munyonga has done absolutely nothing for Zim. Guy hits one six and suddenly he is the match winner.

Nah, I don't buy that. Matches are not won in 1 ball. The foundation was set before he came in. He just happened to be there to hit the six. Does not mean he should be getting glazed like he is. Call him a match winner when he does it regularly, not hit one ball.Pat_Bee wrote: ↑Mon Feb 23, 2026 12:00 pmHe literally waszimbos_05 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 23, 2026 9:07 am
