You have had to fight hard to keep the strong Manicas together.
My wife is also feeling the pinch. On the up side she now knows who Neville Madziva is and also that he is "veto worthy".

Not going to lie it's my number one priority right now.
I think these teams should be then put into action for the next domestic with points awarded etc.......
Yeah, we need to do something with them. We may also need to extend the draft a little with a couple of "pay as you play" picks in case of injuries or retirements.

Discussing things via PM is something not be recommended too often ... in the real world yesterday I had a four-way e-mail discussion, with some people on the verge of erupting ... and then someone picked up the phone.
It should be in the middle of the night now in Australia, so now's the time for some rest ... eh, or work.

Maybe we should add a pre-season draft ahead of the new season for free agents or possible returnees, with the order of the draft reversed (Tuskers get the first pick ...). Thus we would get more realistic squads, because in real life some of the overprized veterans who are now unlikely to make our teams due to the stiff salary cap will last out some of the lesser known players.
I love these draft or phantom threads. Done a few on other forums before, mainly soccer, and it is always fun.
Eagles Chairman looking taking things in his stride
New Mashonaland Eagles chairman, zimbos_05, has spoken at his delight of taken full control of his boyhood province in the Zimbabwe Domestic Cricket Scene. The Eagles chairman was speaking from his home in Brisbane, Australia, after the finalising of his take over of the Eagles. "It is an exciting opportunity and one I cherish especially as someone born in the region." Despite his enthusiasm for the season ahead, zimbos_05 did express some concerns in relation to the current ongoing draft. "I have no concerns about the actual draft, but more about my knowledge of the players available. Living in Australia the past 10 years has not afforded me the luxury of keeping a close eye on the domestic scene in Zimbabwe, and as a result am very reliant on information from my coaches and technical staff in relation to the players we are looking to draft in. In saying that, we are very confident of building a very strong squad and look forward to the domestic season."
The new chairman hopes to arrive in Zimbabwe in late May when the full squad will be presented, and the players handed their playing strips. Brendan Taylor has already been announced as the captain of the squad, and is sure to bring some valuable experience to the side.
