The latest murmurs have been that Zimbabwe will play three specialist spinners (Utseya, Price and Maruma) and that Taylor will return to the opening position.

About time.

I fear that maruma could be in for some tap in this match. He played well as a batsmen in the last match but he was not picked primarily for that role.Still without a ODI wicket, I would rather bank on the expwerience of brent with 73 wickets as i feel it will be brent who will be axed.

Hopefully dabengwa is dropped too in place of chibhabha.

This series could turn out to be a very interesting one. I am getting good odds on a pakistan series victory of 4-1, which i feel Zimbabwe are more than capable of taking. Zimbabwe always play out of their skins for 1 game in a series to hence why i feel this is a good series prediction.

I am sorry i havnt been around for the past few days, my power has been intermittent and i cant use my xomputer on my generator as it just eats it for dinner. However guys we will be able to watch this match 100% streamed.

These 2 places will show it live, i have emailed them both and they confirm it will be shown. The matches are going out live into Asia from Ten Sports, the main sponsor of Zimbabwe and ARY Digital, which for you guys in europe can watch on satellite or cable for a small fee. I looked this up earlier to see if i could get it here but i cant.

I hope we can have some better discussion as we are able to watch it live. I wont be here for the 4th and 5th games as i am going to Accra with some friends for the African nations.

For any UK people interested: I'm just off the 'phone with ARY, and their minimum subscription term is 12 months (at £10/mth). I'm not that keen to see the series, so it's CricInfo for me. I'm at work during the matches & Sopcast is blocked there, so that's not an option either. :(

well i am from pak n from my knowledge i think pakistan team definately be able to win it 5-0 on teams strength, though i think you can't put money on match involving pakistani team, they are the most unpredictable side in cricket world.so hopefully there may be good game for zim and they can put one off the matches or even remain competeteive for the series.
Karachi is the place for the first match that be good batting wicket , i think being home ground of Afridi he can be real danger for zim.there be no help for faster bowlers only be reverse swing available for some time for Pakistani seamers, spinners might get some turn at afternoon so nothing much be for bowlers there.
zim win the toss and bat first there be lot of score on this wicket.

Have you tried ringing your tv supplier instead of actually ringing ARY? Companies are notorius for getting you to sign 12 month contracts whereas if you contact your tv supplier they will most likely offer you the channel for a month by month basis.

You never know! your lucky to even have the chance to watch it on your tv, no such thing as ARY here! thats if i have power of course....

No such luck. I'm with Sky - ARY's an 'a la carte' channel that's only available directly. Their only other carrier in the UK is Virgin Media, and they're not available in my area.

I've been hearing from Harare about the problems there've been with the power in the past few days. Things on the ground just don't get any better... :(

Dabengwa dropped. Gary Brent is believed to be out injured (back strain?) and not because of quotas. Matsikenyeri back in the team, Boom Boom playing at 8 allows for the extra batsman. Taylor opening again as expected:

Sibanda, Taylor, Chibhabha, Taibu, Williams, Masakadza, Matsikenyeri, Chigumbura, Utseya, Price, Mpofu
