Not NPL but St Johns winning the T20 comp this weekend over 3 South African schools was a hell of an achievement. Clearly some talent still left in our schools. Shame that most of the guys who performed are too old for the next Under 19 World Cup..

Michael Fost played a number of games for the Tuskers this week. I wonder if we will see him in franchise cricket this year.

Ballance let us down badly. I don't think there has ever been a bigger disappointment than that since this forum started. That Scotland game. Deep down I'm sure he knows he would have made a difference. He obviously can still make a difference but man... Some things are unforgivable I can't forgive...

Well he is in Zimbabwe training for the T10, that is clearly not being "well and truly done with cricket".

Interesting interview with Ben Curran. He is a long way away from Zim selection if you ask me.

Rangers and Taka, yes. But not much depth beyond that in the club stuff. Westside and Gladiators are okay. Beyond that it's fairly low quality stuff. As for franchise, It's a step in the right direction for some of the guys but they still have to keep working hard and dominating the franchise seaso...
