Re: 5th T20I | Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh | May 12, 2024
Really good point about not hitting pace for six. One guy who did adapt strangely was Malcom Waller, he had a really good record in T20s. Elton too could smash the pacers over long on fairly frequently.

Re: NPL 2024
Seems like Rangers have now added Burl and both Welch's from OH to their already lengthy batting list. Struggling to see how everyone plays. They also have Ervine, Bennett, Marumani, Mudzinganyama, Basson, both Campbells, Jayden S, and plenty of others. Every chance they win the league, which won't...

Re: NPL 2024
Interesting to note that Basson was going to go on the 2018 Rising Stars tour before ZC scrapped it in their paddy about missing out on the qualifiers.

Re: Sean Williams retiring from T20i
"This is the vision," Raza told ESPNcricinfo. "Because we are not going to the World Cup, we want to rebuild the team. We want to secure our future in all three formats. The senior guys will be there for a bit longer in ODIs and Tests, but in T20s we are trying to build a new team. The long-term vi...

Re: 5th T20I | Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh | May 12, 2024
I know what Doggy is getting at with Bennett. He is not the most talented guy we have but the one thing his does have is a clear mind. The biggest skill he has is that he can pick up length unbelievably quickly, you can see it in those shots he plays off Medhi, this is why he scores so many runs thr...

Re: Sean Williams retiring from T20i
Looks like it is just T20s. Plans to carry on in tests and ODIs.
The ODIs is a bit strange, trying to hang on until 2027?

Re: Sean Williams retiring from T20i
Is he the last player, from any team, from the first ever World T20 in 2007 to retire from T20I? I don’t think there is anyone else left. Maybe one or two of the Bangladeshi pensioners are still going but that’s about it. Shakib made his T20 debut in the same game as Williams back in 2006. https://...
