Re: Eddie Byrom and Nick Welch

The first class season has started here in England, and Eddie Byrom has already made his mark by scoring unbeaten 50 and and unbeaten 100 for Somerset vs Cardiff MCCU. Bowling for Cardiff was Brad Evans, also a Zimbabwean. The whole game was streamed live on youtube and is still able to view, if yo...

Re: Wicket-Keepers

Not completely impressed after seeing the playing XI of the Tuskers. The inclusion of Sean Williams in the team is must and Ewing should have played also. Who is Donald Mavhiko? Perhaps, he is Alexander Donald Mavhiko. He played for Centrals last year in the Faithwear. If you want to check out his ...

Re: gary brent

I second that Chubb. Rainsford is a great little player who has sometimes been unfortunate to play in a side that hasnt got enough runs on the board for him to be effective. Worringly though he missed the last match for centrals so providing he is still in the country i would get him in sooner rath...

No idea why not, but Chamu did not play in this game.

The Australians steamrollered the Vice Chancellors XI by 211 runs in this 50 over match.

Maybe he will be glad that he didn't play !

Re: PJ Moor - the next Tendulkar?

I wonder how many Zimbabwean players have boasted such a strong test record so early on? PJ has rightfully been criticised for his mediocre limited overs returns, but his test form is really quite something. Currently in his seventh test, he has scored 437 runs at 36.41. His four half-centuries hav...

Re: Ryan Burl

I have been trying to investigate what the situation is regarding Ryan Burl. The Tuskers guys don't seem to know very much, or prefer not to say. But I got some more information from Darlington Majonga, head of ZC media department. He says Ryan offered his services to all four provinces, but on con...

PJ Moor is the next Hami
Hamilton Masakadza put a stop to that
