Difference between Zim and Afg is that none of the Zim bowlers except Raza bowl consistently on the stump line. We can really see how many yorkers has been bowled so far... All are bowling wayward and expecting batsmen to make a mistake.

Re: Sri Lanka vs Zimbabwe T20
Really impressed with Brad Evans as finally there is someone who can bowl yorkers with good pace. Todays fielding and catching was top notch. Liked the atheticism and catches of Maposa and Munyonga as well.

We need more allrounders who can be consistent it atleast batting/bowling. I believe Burl and Evans should be in all formats of the game. Masvaure used to bowl medium pace earlier, he could have been handy in the first test as well.

Re: Road to the England Test 2025
Zimbabwe need a good spinner who can also hold the bat for the test match. And I feel Ryan Burl would be the best choice here.
Sadly, Burl is not even bowling even in his preferred T20s....

Re: T20I WC what would you have changed (given the available resources)
I would start with the best batsman in form opening, which is Raza currently as he needs to face maximum overs for a T20. Raza will make the best use of the opening powerplay. I would also not leave out Brad Evans from the team as the win against Pakistan was also based on his efforts. 19 runs with ...

Re: Zimbabwe T20 World Cup Squad 2022
There's a lit to like about Marumani. He's got an exceptional eye, fast hands and I don't think he's plagued by doubt. I beg to differ here. If you look at the way he has played international cricket, he is a wild slogger and he connects the ball rarely too reflecting his strike rate of <80. Maruma...

Re: Dave Houghton Head Coach
I do agree on Mumba based on the last few performances. Tiripano is a good player, but based on stats, he is ideal for Test Cricket.
Also is Cephas Zhuwao still an option? We do need some powerful hitting at the start.
