Re: 2024 T20 World Cup | Pre-Series Discussion
If the pitches are going to be slow and bowler friendly then we can see some upsets at the WC. Some of these associates are se used to playing on slow sluggish wickets, they actually thrive in such conditions. We know what happened to India and Pakistan in 2007 in a similar ODI WC format. This could...

Re: Nepal Watch
Lamichanne getting a clean chit and is now available to play for Nepal is such a sickening news.
Great job by US Embassy to deny him the visa for T20 WC.

Re: 5th T20I | Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh | May 12, 2024
Six hitting or fearless hitting is why I want to see more of guys like Musikewa get a chance and the likes of Ryan Burl to always be there in the team, Burl is a clean striker. They can also invest in guys like K-Long or Jongwe, as in give them proper modern day coaching and they might do well. Jong...

Re: 5th T20I | Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh | May 12, 2024
Yeah, looking at that result Zimbabwe should have won at least one more game, easily. It's about the mindset as well, you've got to believe that you can. Having said that, we should also acknowledge that a lot of these associate nations are no longer pushovers, they've improved a lot, esp in this T2...

Re: 2023-2031 FTP news, updates, etc
Zimbabwe hang in there in 12th place after the first three games of the tri series (3rd game abandoned), three rating points clear of all three - Namibia, Netherlands and Scotland. If Netherlands or Scotland do not close the gap in the next three games, then I guess it could be difficult for them to...

Re: State of SA
The sack the transformation targets off for a World Cup because they want the best chance of winning, they’ll be back for meaningless bilateral’s though. Shows how much faith they really have in the system. Agreed, but still a bold step. Is it though? The targers only say 3 black blacks if I recall...

Re: State of SA
Just realized after reading an article on cricinfo that Rabada is the only black African selected in South Africa's squad for The T20 WC 2024! 5 other players of color are selected, so it's a total of 6 players all of whom will make the squad even on merit. Given that South Africa officially have t...
