Re: Building the future zim side

Brain Bennett is looking like one for the future if everything stays fine. Meaning he hangs around and basically becomes someone as good as Craig Ervine or Sean Williams. Jonathan Campbell has had a good season, so that's another guy we can keep an eye on. He should get his chance, it's a deserving ...

Re: U19 World Cup | South Africa | Jan-Feb 2024

Yet another title for Australia. I didn't see the final at all as I'm currently out of country... Pretty much the reason I'm not posting much either, but yeah looks like another ICC trophy that india have missed in the KOs... Not good signs these, this has become a habit now.

Re: ZC announce major restructure: Mhishi Committee

The plan appears to be good but as you all say, we will see how much of it gets implemented and what are the timelines.

Anyways some kind of a start is still good.

Re: 2023-2031 FTP news, updates, etc

Bangladesh usually honor their commitments, so do Sri Lanka. I expect BCB to do their best to play both the tests, be it in April Or October Actually I'm glad we have Zim - Ban in April... Those 2 months of IPL literally kills me every year. I think we've also got some T20s between Pakistan and New ...

Re: World Test Championship : Performance by Team

Forgot to mention the most surprising thing so far…India isn’t the top team in terms of win loss ratio. That is striking because the seem to always steamroll all opponents at home and then perform admirably away (usually on friendly surfaces, just sayin). Total mindfuck to see Australia in #1 posit...

His name is the other way around btw. He is the son of Abid Hamid, who passed away whilst Ali was still in primary school and was a great, great man. A stalwart of the game here who did just about every single behind the scenes role at some stage - administrator, groundsman, scorer, umpire, match r...

Re: Zimbabweans in franchise league

I think the team is selected on merit, I don't think we have any reason to believe BCCI is anti Muslim. Mohammad Azharuddin, Arshad Ayub, Mohammad Siraj all come from my home town and are practising Muslims. Azhar lead India for 10+ years and is still the only Indian Captain to lead India in 3 ODI W...
