Agreed, but still a bold step.

Re: State of SA
Just realized after reading an article on cricinfo that Rabada is the only black African selected in South Africa's squad for The T20 WC 2024! 5 other players of color are selected, so it's a total of 6 players all of whom will make the squad even on merit. Given that South Africa officially have t...

Re: 5th T20I | Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh | May 12, 2024
ZIM are back in the top 12 now...just ahead of Scotland on decimals. Will be a very tight race for automatic qualification. One more win for Zimbabwe in this series would gave almost certainly seen them through. They should have won that 4th T20I. Chasing 144 in modern day cricket is as easy as it ...

Re: Sean Williams retiring from T20i
I was expecting this. It was inevitable to be honest after the emergence of the younger players and obviously the focus will now be on the younger boys. I would like to see them play the longer formats though. Williams in particular will be quite handy. The big question is, do they have it in them t...

Re: 2024 T20 World Cup | Pre-Series Discussion
It may sound laughable atm, but my pick to win this tournament is Pakistan. I don't know, I have a very strong feeling that they will pull this off.
Hope to be proved wrong and India can finally end the ICC trophy drought that has been haunting us for 11 years.

Re: 5th T20I | Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh | May 12, 2024
Oman beating Namibia and Scotland and Nepal beating Netherlands at the T20 WC will be a huge boost for Zim to make the cut. Unlikely but not impossible. Given the slow nature of wickets in WI, Oman and Nepal can fancy their chances. In the tri series, it will be best for Zimbabwe if Ireland keep bea...

Re: 5th T20I | Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh | May 12, 2024
Overall this series was important because we had other guys stand up. Bennet and Campbell have bought themselves at least 3 games against India, if not all 5. I will say it again, you could sense the change of guard for the first time. Craig was carrying drinks and he didn’t seem bothered. I think ...
