Re: Durham tour of Zimbabwe

Absolutely. He doesn't bowl and the middle lower order is for all-rounders and keepers. Spin was always his Achilles heel but he's improved.

We've seen every time there's a bit of rain the pitches in Harare become really tricky, even if they get the covers on in time. Mpofu and Makoni will do well to survive the first ten overs. New Kookie on a tricky pitch is not easy. If they want to have a look at Makoni then surely drop Mpofu? A blin...

Re: Durham tour of Zimbabwe

At this rate we're going to have 17 people vying for number 6 spot.

Re: Durham tour of Zimbabwe

They could hire Wingate for 10k, get a game in and the owners would use the money to make it a a great and much needed venue for club cricket.

Re: Durham tour of Zimbabwe

I thought he played well to be fair. No score to show for it, but looked totally at ease. The option is to put him at 5-7 so he can double or triple the number of runs he makes or keep grooming him as an opener because last time I checked we needed openers. They should try all the centurions and dou...
