Re: Zimbabwe vs South Africa / 1st T20 / Tri-Series / Harare
You dont have to have Gwandu or Evans, you can have Gwandu AND Evans! There's a lot to be said for having 4 seamers at all times. Until someone absolutely nails down that specialist spinner berth its almost worth just bowling seam. Everyone one of our spinners has at least one drag down or loose del...

Re: Zimbabwe vs South Africa / 1st T20 / Tri-Series / Harare
Wr have the added problem of guys having to learn once they get thrown in the deep end. That narrows it down even further.

Re: Zimbabwe vs South Africa / 1st T20 / Tri-Series / Harare
No we do need to see Dion and Toni. Theyre decent players. What nobody seems to get is that very few people can play at this level. We're talking the best players on the planet. Its the top 1% of 1%, literally. Players have to have that sort of talent and abilty, that work ethic, that mental fortitu...

Re: Zimbabwe vs South Africa / 1st T20 / Tri-Series / Harare
To be fair this was not the worst game we have played. It's just that the losses are piling up. It's crazy to think that Wes, Madande, Musekiwa and Munyonga are all in that mid 20s age bracket. The chances are going to dry up in the next 18 months if they are not careful. Get dropped this time and ...

Re: Zimbabwe vs South Africa / 1st T20 / Tri-Series / Harare
Apparently we are still having an experimental side still with the qualifiers soo close. What took the game away from us was clearly the six hitting. The commentators were saying its quite a big field but the Saffers were clearing it easily. I wonder who actually sits down to think lets have Madand...

Re: Zimbabwe vs South Africa / 1st T20 / Tri-Series / Harare
Returning BT as keeper, captain and key batsman is wild mate  at least you resisted the urge to make him open Not really. He's in the best nick of his life, he's been hitting for 3-4 hours a day and looks absolutely superb. I'll bet my bottom dollar he's going to do very well. Keeping is a big...

Re: Zimbabwe vs South Africa / 1st T20 / Tri-Series / Harare
Yep, Ngarava needed that rest. He looks hungrier today Ngarava and most of the ZIM boys look like hunger has never been a problem they've faced. A bit insensitive as a couple of them genuinely have. Aren’t you liberals supposed to be the BeKind crowd? A stint in ICE detention and he's come ou...

Re: Zimbabwe vs South Africa / 1st T20 / Tri-Series / Harare
Just listened to Raza's post match presser. He's talking 10 to the dozen, did anyone even get a chamce to ask a question? Maybe that was the plan  What's a winter wicket exactly? The ball wasn't quite coming on, dont think thats a function of the season. but I stand to be corrected, he me...

Re: Zimbabwe vs South Africa / 1st T20 / Tri-Series / Harare
Wes getting it tight from certain quarters. Its unacceptable what he's being subjected to. I've seen plenty good players not being able to find a run up front with good bowling. Happens very often. Now they're likely to panic and drop him and it just worsens the situation. I'd swap him for Munyonga....

Re: Tri series Zim, SA NZ
Despite the poor total we set we had a sniff there. Some loose stuff from Raza, Wellie and then a tragic over from Ryan.
I'll say it for the 100th time, we need a seaming all-rounder.
