Re: Sean Williams retiring from T20i

In theory we have; 2024: 1 Test in Ireland 2 Tests home to Afghanistan 2025: 2 Tests home to Ireland 1 Test in England 2 Tests home to SA 2 Tests home to NZ 2 Tests home to Afghanistan 2 Tests in Bangladesh Potentially 14 Tests in 18 months! Highly unlikely of course, I estimate a fair chunk of thos...

Re: Sean Williams retiring from T20i

Can’t imagine a squad without the big three. Such legends.

I don’t think Ervine will retire quite yet although his place in this format is definitely not guaranteed now.

Re: Sean Williams retiring from T20i

Looks like it is just T20s. Plans to carry on in tests and ODIs. The ODIs is a bit strange, trying to hang on until 2027? I doubt he’ll last that long. He’s almost permanently injured already. I think he’ll try to get himself in shape for the big India series this winter and then get through to the...

Re: Sean Williams retiring from T20i

Is he the last player, from any team, from the first ever World T20 in 2007 to retire from T20I? I don’t think there is anyone else left. Maybe one or two of the Bangladeshi pensioners are still going but that’s about it.

Re: Sean Williams retiring from T20i

In a lot of ways Sean always looked to have the game to be even better at T20 than ODI but somehow never quite mastered the format properly - not sure why. Still 1691 runs at 23.48/126.38SR is a bigger contribution than almost anyone else so what a servant he has been. It does feel like the right ti...

Blessing can bomb it miles. He's not shit.
I knew he was coming out to that shot. If you're 7 ft do you need to? It's weird what pressure does.
Blessing scored a massive unbeaten century off like 30 balls in club cricket earlier this year!

Re: 4th 20/20 International bangaldesh vs zimbabwe

SZ, Googly, with the emergence of Bennett and Campbell, the two obvious positives from this series, how do you see Ervine and Williams' future from here? Do you think they would want to stick around or call it a day? Or do you think it will be Burl who might get the axe? They are on big big salarie...
