There is a 3 day match scheduled for Zimbabwe emerging vs MCC from July 22-24 at Arundel cricket club ground.

They are doing a lengthy tour again, similar to last year. A fair few fixtures with county 2nd XI/Academy sides too.

So they’ve replaced Raza, a spin bowling middle order batter with Makoni, an opener who does not bowl. Right.

Three tests ago they thought Campbell was good enough to debut and captain but now they think Makoni, who hasn’t played a game since, is a better choice.
