Middlesex I believe have been banned from signing overseas players this year. Some sort of financial special measures imposed by the ECB as they are in so much debt.

He's probably on comfortably £100k/yr at Middlesex plus I think he has played the Hundred the last few years so whatever he gets for that as well. Other than Gumbie I think Wes is the shortest person in our squad. I have stood within a few meters of him and he is significantly shorter than me and I'm 5'11.

Averages 35 in County with the bat and 24 with the ball. I'd say thats rather good for an all-rounder. Would Evans/Jongwe/Faraz have those figures in county...?

Not at all surprised he said no.
He is a really quality player though and it's interesting that ZC are still making such approaches to players. i thought the Ballance disaster might have put them off going down that route again. It's good to hear that ZC are trying!

T20 cricket for you and why it has a global audience Yes, but good teams don't lose to Associates. Don't think Australia or India have ever lost to an Associate in T20Is. Erm….how can they lose if they never play them? I doubt India or Australia have ever played an associate outside of a World Cup....
