Re: T20 Africa Qualifiers

My thoughts on the Munyonga, musekiewa maposa, Gwandu debate: I think the only competition for that spot is Williams when he is back or Madhevere . Musekiewa has something about him to support as a finisher so I’d keep him in. Munyonga can hit a long ball but he is the best runner between the wicket...

Re: T20 Africa Qualifiers

Uganda have lost to Tanzania and are out :o

They were 80-1 off 9 overs chasing 128 and bottled it.

Re: T20 Africa Qualifiers

Pretty happy with that, job done.

Just need to beat Nigeria/ Kenya now in the semis.

We should walk the other 2 group games. Rest BT for the important semi.

Re: T20 Africa Qualifiers

Cozy doesn’t seem to be swinging it round corners like he used to. He must have changed his action in South Africa.

Uganda's front 6 batters look pretty good. I'm impressed.
They have improved their batting stocks over the past year. Verma, Dhawan and Mangela (out injured) as that was the clear weakness in the side.

Their bowling is where they thrive but the opening bowlers have bowled far too short so far.

Re: NPL T20 Blast | 2025

They finally come up against a strong bowling lineup and a bit of pressure and bottle it. Campbell loves running someone out! At least he held it together with the bat and bowled pretty well. This hype around Matt Welch and he is no better than the backup keeping stock that we have, he is a walking ...

Re: Namibia T20 Series (3 T20s 15th - 18th September 2025)

They should have made this warm-up a triangular with a Zim A side Schadendorf/Curran Welch Knackers Frost Campbell Welch Jr Frost Mubayiwa Chivanga Macheka Nyauchi Need Madhevere in there, Madande with the gloves, also Kaia is the A captain. Masuku would probably be a lead seamer. Jongwe as the sea...

Re: Namibia T20 Series (3 T20s 15th - 18th September 2025)

Where was Williams in the last game? Taking a rest? Self-imposed exile? The sides to worry about are Namibia, Kenya and Uganda. Uganda are sharp. From there we go to a global qualifier, do we not? There is no global qualifier. 2 sides qualify. It’s group stage then a straight knockout semi. If we t...

Re: NPL 2025

It’s sad really because that kagumba was firing it in and looking good. That hat trick ball to cremer was out.

Just watch that last over on YouTube it’s farcical, they should have cut the stream.

Re: Sri Lanka Zim 2nd ODI 31Aug 2025

I think it’s not right to change the 11 after one game but Madande needs to play if BT is not fit to keep. To me the only viable swap is Madhevere for Madande. Again it’s harsh on Madhevere but Munyonga hit runs. Surely they won’t drop Evans, if a pacer sits out it has to be Gwandu. Tbh I would even...
