I don't get why guys like Ben Curran and Nick Welch don't even get tried in these T20s instead of persisting with the same duds
I don’t think they would have stemmed the flow of runs today….

No point playing 4 seamers if we don’t have 4 decent seamers. We are pushing it with 3.

Maposa just isn’t up to it really and leaks runs every game.

This is just embarrassing.

Re: Zimbabwe vs Afghanistan | Only Test October 2025 | Harare

Great win. An all round performance as well, everyone chipped in. I’d have give Brad MoM because the first innings was crucial, but they always favour the batsmen. If we were to have another game I wouldn’t make a change to that 11. Then in spin friendly conditions you just replace Tk for Masekesa o...

Re: Zimbabwe vs Afghanistan | Only Test October 2025 | Harare

I’m so proud of Tsiga, he has really mitigated any concerns about his keeping ability, and is the right man for the job in this format. Crying out for him to hit runs though, he has these innings that start well he just needs to push on with one, it’s going come good. Such a lovely guy as well, had ...

Re: T20 Africa Qualifiers

My thoughts on the Munyonga, musekiewa maposa, Gwandu debate: I think the only competition for that spot is Williams when he is back or Madhevere . Musekiewa has something about him to support as a finisher so I’d keep him in. Munyonga can hit a long ball but he is the best runner between the wicket...

Re: T20 Africa Qualifiers

Uganda have lost to Tanzania and are out :o

They were 80-1 off 9 overs chasing 128 and bottled it.

Re: T20 Africa Qualifiers

Pretty happy with that, job done.

Just need to beat Nigeria/ Kenya now in the semis.

We should walk the other 2 group games. Rest BT for the important semi.

Re: T20 Africa Qualifiers

Cozy doesn’t seem to be swinging it round corners like he used to. He must have changed his action in South Africa.

Uganda's front 6 batters look pretty good. I'm impressed.
They have improved their batting stocks over the past year. Verma, Dhawan and Mangela (out injured) as that was the clear weakness in the side.

Their bowling is where they thrive but the opening bowlers have bowled far too short so far.

Re: NPL T20 Blast | 2025

They finally come up against a strong bowling lineup and a bit of pressure and bottle it. Campbell loves running someone out! At least he held it together with the bat and bowled pretty well. This hype around Matt Welch and he is no better than the backup keeping stock that we have, he is a walking ...
