Re: Sri Lanka vs Zimbabwe | Tri Series | 25 Nov 2025 | Rawalpindi

If anybody wishes to see hard hitting ability, take a look at Nick Welch's recent Instagram post. Says it all. Technique, time and completely at ease.
If he doesn't play in the 2027 CWC I reckon he'll throw the towel in

Re: Sri Lanka vs Zimbabwe | Tri Series | 25 Nov 2025 | Rawalpindi

Burl again doing a good job at the end. Ffs we aren't a million miles off here. Having Welch Snr in would provide a bit of extra fire power in the middle to top order and Graeme Cremer back in would be a much more attacking option.

Re: Sri Lanka vs Zimbabwe | Tri Series | 25 Nov 2025 | Rawalpindi

I'm just not sold on him. He's had a lot of opportunities and Musekiwa has squandered most of them, if not all. Burl has got to be there for the final over. He's the guy who can get us to a half decent score of 150

Re: Sri Lanka vs Zimbabwe | Tri Series | 25 Nov 2025 | Rawalpindi

😄 how many times has Raza's ego got the better of him. Just a ridiculously needless shot having smoked a brilliant shot for 6. Some of the shot selection has been utterly shambolic in the last few overs.

Re: Sri Lanka vs Zimbabwe | Tri Series | 25 Nov 2025 | Rawalpindi

Why are we sweeping everything. It screams of not having a fucking scooby doo. Not a good option when it's skidding on that much

Re: Sri Lanka vs Zimbabwe | Tri Series | 25 Nov 2025 | Rawalpindi

Just doesn't look like hitting those sweeps. Anything on middle he's almost trying to work yo backward square leg. Hit straight or over the top. He's got that in him

Those were two very good deliveries that Maru and Dion got there. The latter really jagged away. Taylor just keeps on playing across the line which is risky business.

Evans again gets an early wicket having been hit for 2 maximums. I like this Maposa too. Seems to have a bit about him. Surprised he's not played some ODI cricket for us though. In Maposa, Evans, Muzarabani and Ngarava there's a decent little battery there.
