Re: Over 40's Masters World Cup

Alan butcher actually said he was almost unelectable in Bangladesh in 2010. He watched him bat in the nets and after an over very quickly realised he wasn't good enough. I'm sure I've read somewhere as well that even Butterworth himself said not to be selected

Re: State of SA

And the middle order is so so dangerous. Brevis, Breitzkee, De Zorzi (really rate him) and Miller when he's back. Pretorius, De Kock, Markram and Rickleton then compliment the middle order by getting off to a flier. One of the most exciting LO side SA have had for a long time I reckon. Not overly su...

Re: State of SA

South Africa have some real fire power in their side at the moment. Very much like the side of the 90's, where there were fast bowling all rounders who hit the ball hard. Klusenar, Pollock, Macmillan, Snell etc. This current side now has Jansen, Bosch and Coetzee when fit. It lends such ballance to ...

If anybody wishes to see hard hitting ability, take a look at Nick Welch's recent Instagram post. Says it all. Technique, time and completely at ease.

Burl again doing a good job at the end. Ffs we aren't a million miles off here. Having Welch Snr in would provide a bit of extra fire power in the middle to top order and Graeme Cremer back in would be a much more attacking option.

I'm just not sold on him. He's had a lot of opportunities and Musekiwa has squandered most of them, if not all. Burl has got to be there for the final over. He's the guy who can get us to a half decent score of 150

Re: Sri Lanka vs Zimbabwe | Tri Series | 25 Nov 2025 | Rawalpindi

😄 how many times has Raza's ego got the better of him. Just a ridiculously needless shot having smoked a brilliant shot for 6. Some of the shot selection has been utterly shambolic in the last few overs.
