Re: 2023-2031 FTP news, updates, etc
But in any case Zimbabwe, Ireland and Afghanistan will get good amount of games against Top sides. At least one guaranteed series against Ind, Aus or Eng every 4 years. That is still a positive development. Not necessarily. Currently you are required to play 6 teams out of 8 possible opponents and ...

Re: Zimbabwe vs Afghanistan | Only Test October 2025 | Harare
Hardly 2 years ago we thought it would be curtains once the big 4 go. Now it's a question of if they are excess to requirements. It's a good space to be in going forward. Great contributions all around. The morning session it going to be key. A few early wickets will put us in a really good positio...

Re: Afghan Test squad for Zimbabwe tour 2025
Word on the street (though unconfirmed) is that Willie is likely to miss this Afghanistan series, it is said that he refused to give a Urine sample prior to the WCQ. Can anyone confirm whether it’s true or not I heard he is currently suspended internally by ZC. Sean's camp are saying that he taking...

Afghan Test squad for Zimbabwe tour 2025
Just noticed the Afghans have picked Ziaur Rahman, the medium pacer. They've also picked a spinning all-rounder in Zia ur Rehman. Interesting selections because neither have a huge pedigree in Tests so far, with the former being totally uncapped in fact. It appears as though the Afghans want to recr...

Yeah saw the schedule...should be a crackerjack of a series. Zimbabwe have improved by leaps and bounds in the past 12-24 months and the Afghans are currently not in good form at all.

Re: T20 Africa Qualifiers
Meanwhile Nepal has just thrashed the Windies...and I think they've won the series as well.

Re: T20 Africa Qualifiers
Maru got a really good ball there. Disagree, he's just a limited batsman who keeps getting opportunities. There are much better options but quota won't allow it. Basically any ball Marumani faces is a jaffa. There's a reason he averages under 20 despite playing the bulk of his games against 20th ra...

Re: Zimbabwe Cricket Stats Quiz
200 International wickets for Blessing Legend. Fitness permitting, should soar into P2 in international scalps and P3 in test wickets by the end of the year. Raza has overtaken Blessing though, so he continues in P3 for now in terms of international scalps. Surely, he'll go one better sooner or lat...

Re: Sri Lanka vs Zimbabwe T20
Watched his innings. Minus that 6 and the punch for 4 down the ground, all of the other four boundaries were edges down to third man. I'd hazard a guess that Marumani probably has the lowest "control percentage" of any batter, including number 11s from the time that statistic has been around. He's ...
