Re: Zimbabwe domestic season 2021-22

I question why we are set to play so much first class stuff and little white ball cricket when we have 3 test matches scheduled over the next 24 months whilst in the same time period we have two white ball qualifiers to prepare for. We're still stuck in the 90s. Everyone here still wants to play te...

Re: 2021 T20 World Cup

I will be surprised if Ireland win a single game tbh. Group of death and on paper they are the weakest of the 4. My predictions would be; Group A 1 Sri Lanka 2 Namibia 3 Netherlands 4 Ireland Group B 1 Scotland 2 Bangladesh 3 Oman 4 PNG (I put Bangladesh lower solely to annoy Kriterion tbh :D . The...

Which is also what I am saying with ACB. There are a lot of allegations, no concrete proof.
We'll have to see what happens come November but the ICC seems to be striking a conciliatory tone. The BCCI has also remained interestingly silent so far, whatever that means.

Re: Nigeria u19

Ooh really? I thought I’d read it was in Q1 but that must have been from pre-pandemic maybe. There’s a few of our boys who will be ineligible then by the end of next year. The reason I doubt Q1 is because thats at most 5 months away and there seems to be no fixtures out. But cricket season in the C...

Re: The future of the coaching staff

Not sure if you are agreeing with me or against it. I think we all know the BCCI and PCB issues go much deeper than cricket and a bit hard to be compared to ACB. Neither. Just stating my opinion on the matter. Just saying that the cricketing part of the argument is identical here. If the ACB are to...

Re: The future of the coaching staff

A lot of unfair bashing of Andy here. Not here to defend or legitimise the Taliban, but none of us know the deal that Andy has struck. The ACB could be operating independently or any payment could be coming from a different source other than Afghanistan. Remember, the ACB board has been around befo...

Re: 2021 T20 World Cup

Yes because ESPNCricinfo have such an excellent track record of analysing associate cricket dont they. Why can’t half the global cricketing community form an opinion different to what is published on cricinfo as if it is the New Testament itself? Or at least tolerate someone’s opinion and *pr...

Re: 2021 T20 World Cup

^ South Africa is a brave and I'd say quite left-field call to make the semi's. On what basis? I think they'll be doing well to finish in the top 7 or 8 tbh. For my predictions I'll plump for a comfortable India win. Windies, England & NZ as semi-finalists. Namibia will get in the Super 12s and a w...

Re: Nigeria u19

Not really sure I like the idea of fielding an entire U19 team domestically. Chances are they'll get trounced, and I don't think theres much benefit to that. Far better to absorb all the U19's into existing teams and guarantee a slot for them; say 1 or 2 U19's per XI in a world cup year maybe? If Z...
