Re: ZC announce major restructure: Mhishi Committee
houghton, Streak, Whatmore,Adams, Sammons, etc are all quality coaches. So why has no one made any significant difference? Besides brief periods in the Streak era? This tells me that going hard out on a top level national coach isnt the answer. We need to invest in the technical coaches and developm...

Re: Ryan Higgins Turned Down Zimbabwe Approach
I cant see the harm in rolling the dice on him for a few years until presumably Newman is ready.
There is not a huge downside to this. In any sport people want marquee players, sometimes they work out, sometimes they dont.
my gut feel says ZC wont try that hard because he is white.

Re: Zimbabwe vs South Africa / 1st T20 / Tri-Series / Harare
I can't believe I am reading that Graeme Cremer is potentially back in the mix. I mean, he was easily our best leg spinner (ever), Hold up....Cremer is NOT our best leg spinner ever. He absolutely was. Better than Strang By every USEFUL metric Strang is better. 36 bowling average against much bette...

Re: Franchise teams
Those South Aficans really dislike us as well. They have a big beef with black Zimbabweans taking their jobs because theyre bone idle MF's. Yeah I dont like black south africans. Disease ridden, aggressive, murderous and lazy. Its disgraceful how they murder zimbabweans just looking for a job.

Re: Franchise teams
Our national side would struggle in their franchise, as weak as it is. When we're playing internationals, and we now have a busy schedule, we'd have a biased B/C side representing us down there. We would get killed. We would probably need to pepper the 3 teams with SA players. Two squads we would h...

Re: Franchise teams
The problem with 3 franchise teams (for example) is twofold. Firstly those selections will just be ridiculous. It ends there. Secondly is the volume. Do the teams play each other 4 times? The format that really suffers is T20. Our T20 season would be done in two days. ZC saves a bunch of cash and t...

Re: Zimbabwe vs South Africa / 1st T20 / Tri-Series / Harare
I see what they see in Nyamhuri, huge potential. But he sprays it and there should be guys ahead of him. Blessing is likely out on compassionate grounds so he may well get a start. Should be Maphosa, well Evans actually, but we know they want a Maphaka wannabe. I'm not sure why they have not consid...

Re: Zimbabwe vs South Africa / 1st T20 / Tri-Series / Harare
So I got some low-down on Cremer this morning. He bowled at our national guys in the nets apparently, and bowled well. Its clear he's contemplating throwing his name in the hat. Pretty gob-smacking really. If he hasn't lost anything he's likely to be our best leggie. He was a decent batsman as well...
