An umpire who officiated Streak's ODI debut, Piloo Reporter, has also died on the same day.
Yeah, what a strange co-incidence.

Re: RIP Heath Streak

Well, it was a matter of time, unfortunately since that fake news went around.

That Andy Flower interview and his long pause at the mention of Streak still haunts.

Go well big man, you earned a lot of fans around the world for the brand of cricket you played.

Re: RIP Heath Streak

What an extremely sad news to wake up to. It felt inevitable over the last few months with the information trickling in, but still, the man who I idolized growing up. This is very painful news personally.

Re: Zim Afro T10 | 20th-28th July 2023

All three Player of the Matches today were Zimbabwean. Chakabva/Marumani/Evans. Evans is a real mystrey. Looks like he has all the attributes to be a really good bowling allrounder but he nearly always gets smashed and rarely scores any runs. Doesn't help when they play him one game ans drop him th...

Well, there are a lot of philologists who might just be lolling around sucking on lollipop and using kiloliters of xylol to dissolve pyrogallol. It would be a lollygag to stop them from doing that.

Re: Zim Afro T10 | 20th-28th July 2023

Just watched a bit of highlights of yesterday's last match as I just wanted to see how HSC looks at night. Yes, quite unbelievable that this indeed happened! Good vibes! But going by how it looked when Wellington took those 3 catches in the outfield and when Faraz dropped one earlier, surely, this i...

At least I don't repeat myself
Actually I do.
It's actually extreme frustration because we all want it to go swimmingly and just knowing how it rolls here.

Re: Zim Afro T10 | 20th-28th July 2023

Googly works in mysterious ways. There are days when there are long posts that have a zillion words in them and cover all the Zim and Rhodesian cricket history and more in each of them, and there are days when there are a gazillion posts (like this onslaught above) of two sentences each. You never k...

Re: 2023-2031 FTP news, updates, etc

Exactly the same. If the rules apply for one, they should apply for all. I think it’s more a cumulative list of ills that led to that. None of the other 12 full a member boards waste or steal ICC funds like ZC. There have been 2 qualifiers in 5 years and millions coming in, with comparatively littl...
