Whilst I have been quite critical of his form, and the ease of his selection, he did look in improved nick today. Other than the valuable test 40, probably the best I have seen him look since his return.

What's needed after the world cup is a limited overs 'A' tour. I prefer playing South Africa because then we get to see who really has what it takes with their backs against the wall. Rubbish first game this morning.

Very sluggish pitch after the rain, just aiding finger spin a lot. Only real performance of note was a decent 50 for Myers, which was nice to see.
