Re: Vic Falls
From a sports tourism perspective it could work but only for the big guns like India and England. We don’t play them regularly so that’s what I don’t understand. For the World Cup I guess they could negotiate with CSA to get some big games played there. After the World Cup is what I’m worried about....

Re: Match Thread: Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh 1st T20 (3rd May)
It’s worth to note that Ryan Burl during the same time from the 2022 World Cup has a 44 against Rwanda plus 38,36 and 30 against Ireland. 20 matches. I guess some will justify it by saying he bats down the order but we have collapsed multiple times during the same period. In fact if you take a look ...

Re: Match Thread: Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh 1st T20 (3rd May)
People here defending Williams, but genuine question, when is the last time he had a decent innings in a T20? Because I can’t remember, it’s been that long. If at all. Don’t get me wrong, he’s still in my team. But he isn’t big 3 level. It’s just not his format. He’s a 50 over playa. That is how he...

If Naqvi finesses citizenship and Myers is back then it would make more sense to play these 2 along with Madande and Bennet in every game until they get it right. Myers is the one who is going to cause some problems in terms of selection because he will deliver if they give him 10 games in a row.

Re: Match Thread: Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh 1st T20 (3rd May)
To be fair they might just replace Wellington and go with the same team. We all know how these guys play. Don’t be surprised to see a masterclass by game 3  I questioned why they played Craig and Gumbie upfront but it made sense when I saw the quality of fast bowling upfront. It was serious. It...

It’s crazy to think about of the 3 fast bowlers Luke has the best strike rate. Somehow things just happen

Re: Match Thread: Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh 1st T20 (3rd May)
Well I guess one plus is that we actually saw the reverse today where the other guys fought and the senior players brought nothing. Burl counts as a senior player against Bangladesh. He is 30 now as well. Plays in the BPL. No more excuses. Our number 9 facing 6 overs out of 20 has to be some sort of...

Senior players really let us down here
