Re: Building a brand new team- thoughts
I had singled out Hamilton long ago, was about the only one. He neither has the class or the mental strength to succeed at the highest level. An average of 25 across formats over a 15 year career against non-minnows highlights that point perfectly. True, a guy like Sibanda or Chigumbura averages clo...

Re: [Match Thread]: Zimbabwe vs India, 3rd ODI
Most of these guys have been around for so long, but they only seem to get worse..... They were definitely a lot better a few years ago than they are now.......... Lack of fixtures meant lack of exposure and teams didn't really know what to do. So it took a few overs or a few games for teams to rea...

Re: [Match Thread]: Zimbabwe vs India, 3rd ODI
Top post, Kriterion! Specially for the Williams part :) The ZC admins killed the game. Perhaps it was never sustainable to begin with at first glance Zimbabwe seems a strange nation to be playing anything the highest level (so does Sri Lanka)...but the ZC's corruption is only less astonishing than ...

Re: Would you be sad if Zimbabwe Cricket died?
exactly Kriterion, Zimbabwes ceiling was already limited to being a Sri Lanka/windies nation, but the admin has acted and been wasteful in the same way that only a top three nation can be. If the top 3 did what ZC did, they have fallen a few rungs too at the level of a Pakistan. But it may soon all...

Re: Would you be sad if Zimbabwe Cricket died?
Zim cricket just wasn't sustainable, even with proper management. That the management is thoroughly corrupt and racist against whites means Zimbabwe are essentially a mid-level Associate side in terms of quality. The only hope is if somehow the likes of Taylor, Jarvis, Welch, Byrom, Curran bros came...

Re: [Match Thread]: Zimbabwe vs India, 2nd ODI
Brendon Taylor would normally be the leading run scorer and was the glue that held Zimbabwe together. when he scored big others played around him and even a middling score from the others was enough to stay competitive Now he has gone and we are undone No papering over the cracks we need to start a...

Re: [Match Thread]: Zimbabwe vs India, 2nd ODI
Moor is clearly out of his depth at this level. The only question is will Zimbabwe be able to score more than the 168 they got last time. They do seem to have more intent today...lets see what that does to the total.
