Re: Series Thread: Women's World Cup Qualifiers

A pretty heavy defeat but most certainly not in the Bermuda league.

Pakistan are a far more experienced side so the outcome is not really a surprise, the ladies just need to get back to basics against Ireland and show that they can learn from their experiences.

Re: Series Thread: Women's World Cup Qualifiers

Congratulations to the ladies, I expect that Pakistan will be a much harder proposition in the next match but this is a very good result and should be enjoyed.

Re: Series Thread: Women's World Cup Qualifiers

A pretty strange looking scorecard has just appeared on cricinfo, as happens regularly when a Zim side is playing  It shows Zim as having been dismissed for 147 from 39 overs after having won the toss. Yvonne Rainsford top scored with 37, Precious Marange 22, Sinikiwe Mpofu 13 and Sharne Mayer...

Re: Series Thread: Women's World Cup Qualifiers

You have to feel sorry for the poor Bermudan girls though, they must be feeling terrible.

Losing badly is one thing but being completely humiliated is something else

Do they play against the Zim girls ?

Re: Series thread - MTN Domestic Championship

An excellent result at last, now maybe the players will realise that they can win matches. Still very much an uneven batting performance though, when will 3 or 4 players hit form at the same time ?, this win is definitely down to the bowlers with 4 of them all bowling well together on the day. Off t...

Re: Series Thread: Women's World Cup Qualifiers

No news as yet on cricinfo of the Zim v Scotland game. What about the Bermuda v South Africa game though :!: Bermuda 13 all out in 18 overs, 10 extras, 3 players scoring 1 including their captain who managed hers off 48 balls. For SA Sunette Loubser had figures of 4-1-3-6  SA reached their ta...

Re: Series Thread: U19 World Cup

Not the ideal outcome obviously but not a bad defeat as such. Only one New Zealand batsman actually got a decent score, take his runs out and they would only have made 139. Good bowling figures from Masvaure 10-1-37-3 and Landman 10-0-42-2, Chitongo only conceded 42 from his 10 and Ncube 7-2-11-1, w...

Re: Match Thread: Dragons v Zimbabwe Provinces

Pretty sad way to finish off the series and unless Namibia get totally thrashed in their last fixture it looks like bottom place for Zim. I had always thought that the Provinces side would do better in the 1 day matches rather than the 3 day, shows how much I know  A great series for Regis Cha...

Re: Match Thread: Dragons v Zimbabwe Provinces

Anyone know anything :?: :?:

The cricinfo score is stuck at 27-0 with a minimum 31 overs to bowl.

Is it raining again
